Heavy tintype plate is stamped with Neff's early tintype patent along one edge, but this image dates to the Civil War period. Some mat abrasions which are almost entirely hidden when the mat is replaced. Otherwise the image is in very good antique condition with no bends. The case is intact.. only issue is the pad is partially loose. Took a few pics with my cell phone.. the uncased
